What will you do

As a Quality Compliance Specialist you will support the site in meeting regulatory requirements and Quality standards by aiding in implementing Food Safety, HACCP, GMP's, product registration, and FSMA standards, managing internal audit findings, documenting and communicating the status of CAPA/Non-conformances/FIR programs, ensuring the accuracy and closure of product Holds, guaranteeing formula integrity through daily batching record reviews, and assisting with document creation, review, and operational record review.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Tracks and executes adherence to Hill’s / ºìÌÒÊÓÆµ Quality Standards and Hill’s Food.
  • Safety Programs. Includes tracking closure of FAP items and maintaining a documentation system with metrics for compliance to cGMPs / FSMA requirements.
  • Documents and tracks progress of the plant quality Internal Audit program which also consists of KPI communication & Forward Action Plan tracking.
  • Owns/Monitors Hold Program and assists in tracking execution of the CAPA / FIR's to meet theÌýexpectations of the standards and communication of or results to site Teams.
  • Communicates follow up actions and closing verification in compliance with Quality Standards and applicable regulations of all Internal and external audit findings and CAPAÌýprogram.
  • Tracks and communicates site KPIs of forward action plans for internal andÌýexternal audit findings.
  • Updates Regulatory documentation to support product registration and plant compliance for the site which includes working with procurement and regulatory teams.
  • Supports documentation specialists to ensure all documents related to production are reviewed for all finished product release criteria, HACCP and cGMPs compliance prior to release and are properly controlled for audit readiness.
  • Batching Record Review.
  • Performs training to site team on standards and compliance activities.
  • Other support activities as required.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Food Science, Engineering or Bachelor’s degree in an alternative discipline with 1+ years functional quality experience.
  • Working knowledge of business process systems such as: Microsoft Office, and Google Productivity Suite.
  • Ability to work irregular shifts, including nights, weekends, or holidays supporting startup as needed or required.
  • Working knowledge of GMPs.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in a Quality related field.
  • 1+ years manufacturing environment or prior internship experience.

Quality Technician - Chemist (2nd Shift)

The Supervisor - Quality (Analytical Lab) is responsible for the overseeing, planning, developing, and directing quality assurance policies, programs, and initiatives for the Analytical Laboratory. Oversees the process and testing of ensure testing complies with established quality standards and government regulations.

What you will do

  • Develop a laboratory sampling, sample retention and testing program for raw materials, work in progress (WIP), and finished products at the facility.

  • Be competent in the performance of routine laboratory test procedures, and operation of analytical instruments and other standard laboratory equipment.

  • Understand and use basic laboratory safety equipment and instructions, precautions in handling reagents and disposal of chemical waste according to local environmental regulations.

  • Ensure the interpretation, reporting of data and maintenance of records are documented and effectively implemented. Including the use of statistical analysis and Statistical Process Control where appropriate.

  • ÌýUnderstand and be able to precisely follow written lab procedures, global methods, local methods and published standard or compendia sources. Translate corporate global methods to the local language as required.

  • Ensure the calibration of analytical instruments, the use of analytical reference standards and the maintenance of the equipment are established and followed.Ìý

  • Ensure the installation qualification (IQ), operation qualification (OQ) and performance qualification (PQ) of the analytical instruments are performed.

  • Devise and execute a program of routine problem resolution and continuous improvement.

  • Develop and monitor the coaching and training of the staff in the chemical laboratory.

  • Participate in internal audits. Conduct and report internal verification of all the laboratory testing units, based on the laboratory testing standard and other quality-related operating standards. Function as part of the Plant’s GMP and Quality Teams.

  • Interface with Divisional GMP, Quality Audit and GTC Analytical Teams. Serve as an in-plant resource during external audits by regulatory agencies or other third parties.Ìý

  • Ensure that analytical methods for key release specifications (KRS) of finished products have gone through appropriate validations and the local laboratory is qualified to perform the analysis prior to manufacturing the product.Ìý

Microbiology Scientist/Research Scientist

What you will do:

The Director, Regional Quality Operations is responsible for leading the execution and continuous improvement of Corporate Quality Assurance and Food Safety programs at designated U.S. manufacturing sites.   • Support special Quality and continuous improvement projects for the facility.

  • Coordinate sample collection and shipment for stability testing at ºìÌÒÊÓÆµ Research and Technology Center.

  • Assist in compilation of Antibacterial Batch Release Records, reviewing for documentation accuracy, and providing feedback to teams where required. Perform initial review of release bundle where needed.

  • Maintain accurate, up to date and concise laboratory notebooks and records.

  • The Chemist is responsible to operate the PSM covered processes in accordance with site policy and procedures.Ìý

  • The Chemist will report deficiencies using the Notification process in SAP EAM, or as necessary using verbal or written communication with Area Leaders or Managers.

  • The Chemist will assist engineering during PHA's and will review operating procedures annually or as needed.

  • The Chemist should complete a PSM 100 workshop within one calendar year from hire date.

Basic Qualifications:

Ìý

  • Bachelor of Science in Chemistry or a science discipline.

  • 2+ years of practical Analytical Laboratory experience.

  • In-depth knowledge of basic analytical testing and laboratory procedures.

  • Working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software, like Microsoft or Google Suite.

  • Proven documentation skills and management of batch records/ production paperwork.

Physical Requirements

  • This position will start during the day shift, but after onboarding will be a 12 hour, 4 on/ 4 off, PM shift. Must be able to work any shift, weekends and mandatory overtime as needed .Ìý

  • Must be able to stand for 8 - 12 hours per shift.Ìý

  • Must be able to stoop, bend, crawl, reach for extended periods of time during shift.

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

  • Must be able to frequently move boxes, totes, bags ranging in weight up to 50 pounds.

  • Must be able to wear all required personal protective equipment.

  • Must be able to ascend and descend ladders and stairs.


Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $51,200.00 - $77,500.00 USD

Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.
